Life skills are the everyday abilities that let residents navigate their own lives with less reliance on others. We teach, not just assist, in each of these areas:
Home-cooked meals suited to dietary and medical needs, housekeeping, laundry, and support with everyday tasks, handled by a consistent staff team who know each resident's routine.
Trained on-site support for dementia, Parkinson's, mobility limitations, and sensory or developmental disabilities, with care plans built around each resident's specific needs.
Reliable transportation is part of what makes independence possible, not an afterthought.
Group meals, activities, and outings designed to keep residents socially engaged, not isolated in their rooms.
Our DDD-contracted Day Treatment and Training program in Tempe gives adults with developmental disabilities a structured weekday program for building skills, joining in community life, and growing more independent, with transportation provided. Learn about our DTA program.
